How to use our products
Calf health programme
Our Calf Health Programme is designed to ensure resilience and to kick off growth in young calves.
|New born calves
|5 mL initial dose
|Oral drench as soon as possible after their first feed.
|Calves on Milk, Colostrum or CMR until weaning
|Once a day feeding; mix 2 mL per feed
Twice a day feeding: mix 1 mL per feed
|Unthrifty calves or calves with dietary scouring
|After calf recovers drop dose to 2 mL per day
|Weaning from liquid feed
|Replace Biostart Calf with Biostart Ruminant immediately prior to feed change

|One dose of 20 mL/head 1–2 weeks prior to calving.
|15 mL/head once a week. It is recommended that LactoPlus is given as a weekly dose for the first 20 weeks of lactation.
LactoPlus can be applied through the trough dispenser, co-administered with other oral supplements via drenching or sprayed weekly over supplementary feed.
